HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Housing Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for resident services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
