HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Linden Legal Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on document review. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with document review. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
