HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Umber Facilities Group is a facilities company in Buffalo with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 883 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety inspections. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
