HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Timber Property Management Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident events. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
