HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meadow Housing Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on lease compliance. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
