HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Union Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Baltimore. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client sites. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
