HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Lumen Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on accessibility audits. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
