HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind West Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Anchorage, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
