HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ember Community Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
