HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Summit Haven Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
