HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Albuquerque, NM)

Nova Junction Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Albuquerque and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
