HR Business Partner - employee relations (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Wren Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Wichita. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
