HR Business Partner - employee relations (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Loom Early Learning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
