HR Business Partner - employee relations (Wichita, KS)

Fernwood Ashton Arts Center is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
