HR Business Partner - employee relations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Virginia Beach working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
