HR Business Partner - employee relations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Umber Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Virginia Beach plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on allergen controls. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
