HR Business Partner - employee relations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Thistle Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with materials orders.
