HR Business Partner - employee relations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Lakeside Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Virginia Beach presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
