HR Business Partner - employee relations (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Corner Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
