HR Business Partner - employee relations (Spokane, WA)

Fernwood Corner Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Spokane. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
