HR Business Partner - employee relations (Savannah, GA)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is a law firm in Savannah serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
