HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Jose, CA)

Highbridge Vale Medical is a San Jose company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on device records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
