HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Cobalt Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its San Jose plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
