HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Haven Property Management manages apartment communities around San Jose, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident events. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
