HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Diego, CA)

Highbridge Drift Civic Services supports public agencies in San Diego with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 331 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
