HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Maple Staffing Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on retention. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
