HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Keystone Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in San Diego. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
