HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Antonio, TX)

Northwind Summit Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Antonio and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter reading. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
