HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Kestrel Property Management manages apartment communities around San Antonio, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident events. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
