HR Business Partner - employee relations (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Drift Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Sacramento with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
