HR Business Partner - employee relations (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Forge Civic Services works with county and city offices around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
