HR Business Partner - employee relations (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Wren Energy is an energy provider in Sacramento focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
