HR Business Partner - employee relations (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Sable Financial serves customers across Rochester with accounts, loans and payments, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on payment disputes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
