HR Business Partner - employee relations (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Field Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for resident services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
