HR Business Partner - employee relations (Richmond, VA)

Summit Nest Markets is a Richmond retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on store inventory. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
