HR Business Partner - employee relations (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Foods provides legal services in Richmond across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
