HR Business Partner - employee relations (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Cobalt Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
