HR Business Partner - employee relations (Reno, NV)

Harborlight Umber Facilities is a facilities company in Reno with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer sites. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
