HR Business Partner - employee relations (Reno, NV)

Northwind Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Reno supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
