HR Business Partner - employee relations (Reno, NV)

Northwind Willow Property Management manages apartment communities around Reno. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on lease renewals. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with lease renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
