HR Business Partner - employee relations (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Lumen Umber Inspection Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
