HR Business Partner - employee relations (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Maple Housing Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Reno. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent assistance. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
