HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Oak Inspection Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
