HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Lumen Sable Press is a printer and publisher in Chicago serving local and national clients. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on paper stock. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
