HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Summit Sparrow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
