HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Harborlight Lantern Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Reno, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
