HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Harborlight Ashton Facilities is a facilities company in Toledo with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer sites. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
