HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on weigh tickets. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
