HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Nova Haven Insurance Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 959 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
