HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Northwind Nest Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Oakland plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
